How much should I charge?

One of the toughest things you can do for your business is price your services. You don’t want to make sure your not overcharging your customer or shorting yourself. You can charge too much and you can charge too little. Each can lead to the same result: failure of the product and/or failure of your business. 

Two key things to put into prospective is the amount of effort and your competition. You want to calculate how long it will take you to complete the project (if you have an hourly rate you can multiply that way). Also check out your competition and how much they charge. If they don’t have their rates online, it would be good to give them a call and find out.

Whatever you do, don’t short change yourself.
